Exercising – Why Bother?

By

workoutMany people find exercising to be boring and tedious.  Exercise enthusiasts like to claim that others are just lazy, and spoiled by the modern sedentary lifestyle.  They go on to say that this laziness is the reason people refuse to exercise on a regular basis; however this reasoning is not always the case.  Some people have very busy daily schedules, and finding the time to squeeze in exercising is a task itself.

Not to mention a great deal of people find the endless repetition of the same movements quite boring.  While there are others who just can’t find the motivation to exercise.  People who find exercising fun truly love it to begin with, while others manage to focus their entire attention on results and ignore the boring routine.

If you are unable to love or ignore the boring part, then you probably find exercising a burden. This attitude however, is not very good for your health.  Perhaps you have a hectic wok schedule, too busy with school, too busy raising the kids, or juggling a combination or all of these things which make you throw exercising aside.

Simple things like 20-30 minutes of jogging or aerobics per day can go a long way toward being in shape. I know that people are busy trying to make a living, but money can’t buy your youthful health back.  Your busy lifestyle can bring you high blood pressure and high cholesterol, which money can’t solve.  But just a little exercising everyday could make the difference in your health.

So exercising can be boring and time consuming but it does help your body cope with pressure and it does help your endurance at all levels.  Not only will you be in good physical shape but your overall health will also be better.  So stop crowding your schedule with so many tasks every day and make room for a little exercising now and then.
